| YOUR
DONATION HELPS FEED MORE THAN 55,000 PEOPLE IN NEED ACROSS THE OZARKS
EVERY MONTH.
For twenty-five years, Ozarks Food Harvest has relied on people
like you to help feed those who don’t have enough money for
one of life's most basic necessities—food. Approximately 164,000
people in the Ozarks are at risk of going hungry — the majority
of whom are women and children, seniors and the working poor —
your food donations from food drives are critical all year long!

Creative
ideas
• Create teams within your organization, and have a contest
for the team that donates the most food! It is easy to inspire some
friendly competition with prizes or incentives. Incentive ideas
for the winning team could be dress-down days, movie passes, pizza
parties, ice cream socials, etc.
• Create donated food theme days like “Macaroni Mondays”
or “Tuna Tuesdays” or exchange “Beans for Jeans”
by allowing employees to wear jeans in exchange for a contribution.
• Place a cash donation bank by the soda machine for spare
change. (You can collect monetary donations for The Food Bank during
your food drives so Ozarks Food Harvest can purchase food items
at a discounted bulk rate!)
• Pass out brown lunch bags to participants – the bag
returned with the highest nutritional value wins!
• Bring in weekly sale ads from supermarket, and send selected
teams shopping.
• Brainstorm and come up with your own ideas – original
ideas are the best!
